1800 Tequila is a Mexican brand of tequila owned by the Beckmann family, who also own the Jose Cuervo tequila brand. The 100% blue agave tequila is bottled in Jalisco, Mexico. 1800 is named after the year tequila was first aged in oak casks, and is sold throughout the world.

This Reposado is crafted from 100% Blue Weber agave that is aged 8-12 years before harvest and then aged 6 months in a combination of American and French oak barrels, contributing to its distinctive flavor profile.

Nose:

This tequila presents a bright and lemony aroma with additional notes of lemon and lime, complemented by a fresh pepper scent and a rich presence of green herbs.

Palate:

It offers a creamy and soft texture at the onset, filled with fruit flavors and a classic blend of caramel, vanilla, and baking spices. The palate is described as lush, almost buttery, with a balanced mixture of sweet and rich elements including butterscotch, cinnamon, nutmeg, allspice, and spicy cocoa, accompanied by a slightly saline and tart undertone.

Finish:

The tequila concludes with a long, peppery finish that leaves a lingering complexity on the tongue, with just a faint whiff of smoke detected in the final notes.
