The Balvenie is a range of single malt whiskies crafted by Malt Master David C. Stewart MBE. Each expression is unique, but all are rich, luxuriously smooth and underpinned by a distinctive honeyed character.
Matured in traditional whisky oak casks before a finish in casks that previously held Caribbean rum, the result is a Scotch that combines the typical Balvenie style with exotic notes from the rum, enhancing the overall flavor profile. Nose:
The aroma of this whisky is rich with sweet notes of tropical fruits, primarily mango and pineapple, complemented by a strong undercurrent of toffee and vanilla. The Caribbean rum casks contribute to a round, lush bouquet that also hints at a subtle spiciness and oak.
