Bowmore

Bowmore is one of the oldest and most prestigious distilleries in Scotland, renowned for producing classic Islay single malt Scotch whisky. Established in 1779, it is located in the town of Bowmore on the Isle of Islay, which is known for its distinctive peaty whiskies. The distillery sits on the shores of Loch Indaal and is famous for its time-honored traditional methods, including its own floor maltings where it partially malts its barley.
