Drambuie is a renowned Scotch whisky liqueur with a rich history that dates back to the 18th century. The brand claims its origins are connected to Bonnie Prince Charlie of Scotland, who supposedly gave his secret recipe for the liqueur to Captain John MacKinnon as a reward for loyalty after the Battle of Culloden in 1746. This recipe, which includes a blend of aged Scotch whisky, heather honey, herbs, and spices, was passed down through generations until it was commercialized in the 20th century.
