Glenlivet

The Glenlivet is one of the most famous names in the Scotch whisky industry, renowned for its high-quality single malt whiskies. The distillery was founded by George Smith in the early 19th century in the Speyside region of Scotland. Smith was among the first to obtain a legal distilling license in 1824, following the Excise Act of 1823, which made it easier for distillers in Scotland to operate legally and profitably.
