Clarity Very clear indicating that it is well distilled, probably twice or three times. Not cloudy at all, crisp and clean. Three times distilled.
Nose:
Citrus, nartjie rind, nutty nose
Palate:
Stone fruits, with spice lingering aftertaste. Lots of people have said peach/nectarine. I definitely get a sweetness to it, but can’t pinpoint it. The spice would naturally come from the fact that it was made from the skins of Somesay. As to spice, some people say black pepper and others are leaning more towards lighter aromatic spices.
