Hope Distillery, located in Cape Town, South Africa, is a pioneer in the craft spirits industry. Established in 2014 by Lucy Beard and Leigh Lisk, two former lawyers from London, the distillery was the first licensed small-batch distillery in Cape Town. It initially focused solely on producing gin but has since expanded its offerings to include small batch vodka, agave spirit, and rhum agricole, alongside a diverse range of gins.
This vodka is distilled from a grape base sourced from the Western Cape. It is meticulously crafted in small batches, with only the purest part of the distillation run being bottled. This process ensures a smoothness that is ideal for sipping neat or on ice.
