Villa de Varda grappa comes to life in Trentino, in the heart of the Piana Rotaliana where the vines gracefully grows at the feet of the Dolomites sun kissed and refreshed by the Lake Garda breeze. All our Grappa have a distinctive taste: the flavour of our territory and the scent of tradition. Today, the sixth generation of the Dolzan family brings forward the passion and the experience gained over the last 150 years. Villa de Varda is a family business, a brand but moreover an outstanding distillation process, that, like a good spirit, gets better with time. Selection, Distillation, Rest and Ageing: this is the process that transforms grape skins into Grappa Trentina. We take care of each step with special attention, guided by the de Varda method created by our fathers and improved over the years.
Villa de Varda Grappa Moscato is made in the very heart of Trentino, in the Piana Rotaliana, a splendid expanse of prestigious vineyards which have been defined “the most beautiful vine-garden of Europe”. Aromatic, clear grappa with pure floral and fruity characteristics.
Nose:
Aromatic, intense, gently ethereal, enveloping, fine, fresh and fragrant, with typical Moscato grapes scents: delicate floral hints of brier rose petals, orange blossom, lily of the valley, elderflower, sage and citrus fruit.
Palate:
Smooth, delicate, gentle, well-rounded, refined and intense. Complex, characteristic, lively and persistent notes of apple and pineapple can be detected, as well as an aromatic background with notes of bread crust, all in line with the olfactory perceptions.
