Alinea Wines is a boutique wine label founded in 2021 by Natasha Jacka, a former chef turned winemaker, based in South Africa. The name "Alinea" signifies "the beginning of a new train of thought," reflecting Natasha's innovative approach to winemaking. She produces her wines using minimal intervention methods, focusing on small-batch, high-quality wines that reflect the unique terroir of different regions across the Western Cape.

The wine was aged for 9 months in old 400L French oak casks before bottling.

The fruit was harvested in mid-February. The whole bunches were crushed underfoot and fermented by wild yeasts. Punch downs were done twice a day during the initial and end stages of fermentation and three times a day during the peak of fermentation. The wine spent roughly 21 days on the skins before being gently pressed.
