Pinotage

This Pinotage pairs exceptionally well with beef, poultry, and game such as venison. It is also a great match with rich dishes like roast duck or venison burgers​.

The wine was aged in French oak barrels for 19 months. The oak imparts subtle cedar and spicy aromas to complement the fruity profile of the wine​.

The grapes underwent 5 days of fermentation in open fermenters, with manual punchdowns every two hours. Fermentation temperatures were maintained between 25-28°C. After malolactic fermentation, the wine matured for 19 months in 30% new and 70% second-fill barrels​.
