Founded in 1760, Champagne Lanson is one of the oldest houses in the region. A year before the end of her reign, Queen Victoria awarded Lanson the Royal Warrant as an official supplier to the Court of England, and the House has retained this ever since. It is also the official champagne supplier to the Wimbledon Tennis Championships. Champagne Lanson rests on 4 immutable pillars: a meticulous selection of crus; a vinification according to the traditional champagne principle; a rare collection of reserve wines, and longer ageing in cellars.

Le Black Label Brut owes its iconic name to Victor Lanson who gave it in 1937, both as a proof of openness to the world and as a tribute to the Royal Court of England which Lanson has been officially supplying since 1900. This champagne is a balanced alliance of vitality and finesse, freshness and elegance, characteristic of the Lanson Style.

We mature our Champagnes for at least 4 years in cellars to develop oustanding complexity

We adhere to the original principle of Champagne vinification, with predominantly non-malolactic fermentation, for incomparable fruitiness and freshness. We use 30 to 40% of reserve wines, some aged for over 20 years, for consistency of style and aromatic intensity
