In the heart of Provence, in the south-east of France, 80 km north of Marseille, Château La Nerthe is a magical belvedere place, overlooked by its 18th century castle and 16th century cellars. Between Avignon and Orange, you can admire the Dentelles de Montmirail, Mont Ventoux and the Palais des Papes. The vineyard covers 92 hectares in the Châteauneuf du Pape appellation with more than 50 plots representing all of the appellation's terroirs. The Château appears unique and unforgettable, nestled in its green park, like an island surrounded by 60 hectares of historic vines in one piece. Despite its majestic appearance, the Château has always been a welcoming place conducive to moments of discussion around its wines.

Different type of soils with sand, clay and shards of calcareous rocks providing a high quality of natural filtration and create fleshy and balanced wines.

The ageing of the wines lasts almost 6 months on fine lees in stainless vat with regular stirring.

Picked at perfect maturity, grapes are sorted before arriving in the cellar and directly pressed in a pneumatic press for 3 hours. The juice flows slowly into the vat. After 24 hours, the juice is racked and the fermentation at low temperature begins to protect all flavours.
