A very personal crianza, heir to the innovative spirit of Cosme Palacio, founder of this winery in 1894, the second oldest in Rioja Alavesa. A classic that does not lack fruit or wood, but that manages to balance them in a wine that surprises with its delicacy and freshness. A red made with Tempranillo, the traditional Rioja grape, from vineyards planted between 500 and 600 m. altitude. You will like it… Its intense fruit and the concentration and perfect acidity of this wine, a reflection of the altitude at which the vines are planted. What is “Wine from Laguardia”? In order to highlight the uniqueness and particularity of a specific area within the DOca Rioja, the “Vinos de Municipio” label was born, which obliges to elaborate, grow and bottle exclusively with grapes from a specific municipality. In this case, the fact that Cosme Palacio is labeled as “Laguardia Wine” means that all its grapes and their production process have been carried out within the municipality of Laguardia, in the Rioja Alavesa sub-zone.
