The grapes for this Pinotage are sourced from vineyards in the Wellington region, which benefit from a Mediterranean climate conducive to grape ripening.

The winemaking process includes cold soaking the grapes for 12 hours before fermentation and maturation in stainless steel tanks with toasted staves for six months. This method enhances the coffee and chocolate notes that define this wine​.
