Nicolas Réau is a natural wine producer in the Anjou sub-region of the Loire. Réau has been a seminal figure in the French natural wine movement since the early aughts and a regular participant in La Dive Bouteille. Réau is guided by the principles of biodynamic farming.

Rouge Pompois consists of 100% Cabernet Franc, from 50-year-old vines, planted on silty and clayey soil. Organic and biodynamic farming.

Aged 12 months in oak.

The grapes are harvested manually and fermentation is spontaneously started by the action of indigenous yeasts, first in concrete tanks and then in wooden barrels, where it also carries out malolactic fermentation.
