The Paterianaki estate is located in Melesses, within the viticultural zone of Pezos, right in the center of Crete. It was started in 1988 by Giorgos Paterianakis with an emphasis on the creation of a quality, Emmanuela and Niki, continue the wine tradition by creating authentic wines with a strong personality. Inside the vineyards is our winery, an innovative unit built in such a way that winemaking takes place in the most natural way by taking advantage of gravity.

Ageing 2 month over fine lees. 2 months at our underground wine cellar

50% of the grapes remain for skin contact for a few hours at cold temperatures. Then the must is fermented in temperature controlled stainless steel tank at 18°C. At the end of the fermentation the wine is left on its fine lees for a few months in order to gain structure and body.
