A date, 1870, and a coat of arms engraved on a vault in the oldest part of the cellar in Barolo. An important starting point summarizing in one look decades of history reproposing a past made up of passion for the hills of the Barolo area: this has been the lucky intuition of Giovanni Rinaldi. Barolo, Castiglione Falletto, La Morra, three of the most important villages in the Barolo area, three places where Nebbiolo expresses itself to the best, in fragrance and taste, fruit of a soil made up of unique elements. Not a random choice for the winery Francesco Rinaldi: the vineyards, some inherited others bought later on, represent the three faces of the Barolo territory.

Vinification, with skin-contact fermentation for 15-20 days in vitrified cement tanks to enhance the character of the Nebbiolo grape and the freshness of the grapes from the younger vines. Refinement is completed in medium-capacity Slavonian oak barrels to optimise the freshness of the wine.
