As with all the Jean Daneel wines it is an excellent food wine and will pair well with most dishes. A great match with salmon or other fatty fish, roasted chicken or pasta dishes.

Jean and Renee Daneel settled into the quiet but quaint country town of Napier en route to the well-known Arniston Struisbaai and L’Agulhas in 2004. They established their wine farm and boutique winery which their eldest son Jean-Pierre now heads as winemaker. Today he has established himself as one of the top winemakers in the country and has achieved international acclaim for his outstanding wines.

The wine was fermented and underwent MLF in the barrel. Matured for 12 months with regular stirring of the lease in the early months to give the wine more complexity. 20% new French oak is used.
