Kloster Eberbach

Kloster Eberbach has always stood for wines of the highest quality. The Cistercians were already making this claim when they began exporting their wines in the 13th century. Even today, we rely on the finest varieties of grape and a gentle vinification. And so we often achieve world-class standards with our wines. The Kloster Eberbach wine estate owns unparalleled vineyards in the Rheingau and on the Hessian Bergstrasse. Our 100%-owned vineyards as well as other vineyards have a worldwide reputation and offer the ideal ground for demanding vines. On an area of almost 230 ha, of which 33 ha alone are located in the UNESCO World Heritage Site of the Middle Rhine Valley, the grapes grown result in about 2.3 million bottles of wine and sparkling wine per year.
