Weingut Pflüger is a family-owned winery located in Bad Dürkheim, within Germany's renowned Pfalz wine region. The Pflüger family's viticultural heritage dates back to the 18th century, with the winery evolving into a dedicated viticulture enterprise around 1900. Today, under the stewardship of Alexander Pflüger, the estate spans approximately 38 hectares, encompassing esteemed vineyards in Bad Dürkheim, Ungstein, and Wachenheim. ​

The Dürkheimer Spielberg is one of the oldest Riesling vineyards of Weingut Pflüger. The vines date back to the 1970s and were planted by hand by the senior owner of the estate. The soil is calcareous with a fine layer of red sandstone.
