Ideally located below Constantia Nek just moments from the bustling Cape Town city centre Constantia Glen is a picturesque boutique wine estate producing ultra-premium cool climate wines. The 60 hectare property situated at an altitude of 130 – 270 metres above sea level has a mere 29 hectares under vine with production of our wines limited to 120 000 bottles per annum.

The vineyards benefit from a cool maritime climate, with strict crop control ensuring optimal ripeness. The 2022 vintage experienced a cool growing season, resulting in a later harvest, which contributed to the development of complex flavors and balanced acidity in the grapes.

The wine is matured in French oak barrels, with a proportion of new oak to impart subtle oak nuances and structure.

After meticulous hand-harvesting and sorting, the grapes are batch vinified to preserve the distinct characteristics of each variety. The wine undergoes fermentation and maturation processes tailored to enhance its complexity and integration.
