The grapes for this wine are sourced from vineyards situated in the Hemel-en-Aarde Ridge, a sub-region of Walker Bay renowned for its cool-climate conditions ideal for cultivating Pinot Noir. The vineyards benefit from proximity to the Atlantic Ocean, contributing to a unique terroir that imparts distinct minerality and freshness to the wine.​

After hand-harvesting, the grapes undergo natural fermentation with indigenous yeasts. The wine is then matured for 12 months in French oak barrels, allowing for the development of complexity and integration of flavors. ​
