"‘61% Grenache, 34% Syrah, 5% Carignan, 1% Cinsault and 1% Pinotage – grapes from 12 different vineyards. 40% whole-bunch fermentation. Matured for 18 months in a combination of concrete, neutral 500-litre barrels and foudre. Subtle and alluring aromatics of red and black berries, fynbos, earth and spice. The palate is pure and tightly wound, the finish super-dry – this vintage has an extra cohesion and elegance about it perhaps due to the high Grenache component." Christian Eedes

David & Nadia is a family-owned project that focuses on producing wines from a spectrum of organically farmed, old and dry land bush vine vineyards from different areas with different soil types, and exclusively from the Swartland. David and Nadia are members of the Swartland Independent Producers with a natural and minimalistic approach in mind. In the cellar they work as naturally as possible and only add sulphur to their wines. It is all about the soil and vineyards after all. They believe in a pure, fresh and natural style where site and soil are at work with a minimal influence from a winemaking point of view.

David & Nadia is a family owned Swartland driven project and we focus on a spectrum of organic, old and dry land bush vine vineyards from different areas with different soil types throughout the Swartland, farmed by like-minded people. We are members of the Swartland Independent Producers. In the vineyard we aim for biological farming and in the cellar we work as natural as possible. It is all about the soil and vineyards after all. We believe in a pure, fresh and natural style where site and soil are at work with minimal influence from a winemaking point of view.
