Deep Rooted Wines

As a regenerative viticulture consultant, I believe in working alongside nature, not against it. My love for the earth and the intricate complexities of nature fuels my passion for crafting exceptional wines. Thriving vineyards, bursting with life, are the heart of my philosophy. This translates into vibrant, natural wines that unequivocally express their cool climate origins. I spend most of my time out in the fields, visiting clients or friends on their farms and sharing ideas, wild or well thought out, on how to improve our practices and connection to nature. This is what fuels me and gives me purpose in this world. Deep Rooted Wines was born out of a desire to share these conversations and the passion that ignites them with more people. My goal? To craft beautiful, natural wines that showcase the unique character of the Walker Bay. I achieve this by minimal intervention in the cellar, and using Zero added Sulphites, letting the grapes and the land speak for themselves. Expect aromatic, complex wines with lively acidity – a true testament to healthy vines and meticulous care.
