The aeronaut is a white of the D.O. Valdeorras elaborated by Bodegas Palacio. This Godello 100% on Lees is the dream come true of an aviator who managed to combine his two great passions: to fly and care for the vine. The know-how and experience of Fernando González, as well as the innovative vision of Almudena Alberca, make this wine a reflection of tradition, innovation and passion for a unique and privileged land.

El Aeronauta has its origin in vineyards of the Godello variety that are over 40 years old, located on steep slopes of the Valdeorras Valley, which crosses the River Sil, to the east of the province of Ourense. Thanks to its Southerly Orientation, the yields are reduced, to ensure a high-flying Godello. Valdeorras is considered an ideal area for vine growing, with the whole region located between 300-700m altitude and benefiting from a great variety of soils. Its Mediterranean-Maritime climate with Atlantic influences is ideal for the ripening of the grapes.
