To be opened one or two hours before serving at 16°C, perfect with roasted red meat, poultry "en sauce" or ripened cheese.

The Gérard Bertrand Group is the spearhead of a viticulture committed to a better future led by its founder, the eponymous winemaker. Known for his great talent as an assembler as well as for his audacity and creativity, he and his teams work to make wines from the south of France shine all over the world.

The vineyard is managed according to the biodynamic system where the energy of the soil lies at the heart of the process. All the work in the vineyard – ploughing and pruning – and in the cellars is driven by a calendar based on two celestial objects: the moon and the sun.

Once the malolactic fermentation is complete, the two varieties are blended and placed in 225 litre new French oak barrels for 12 months. Unfiltered, the wine undergoes further ageing in bottle prior to release.

Hand picked in October at optimum maturity. The grapes are de-stemmed, macerated on the skins and vinified separately for 20 days at a controlled temperature.
