Soave Santepietre

Serve Lamberti Soave with light hors d’ouvres, delicate first courses, salads, eggs and seafood.

Originating in 1964 at Lazise on the banks of Lake Garda the House of Lamberti was the first to propose a new modern identity for the wines of Veneto and in particular those of Verona. Typical examples are Bardolino and Valpolicella as well as Amarone. The white wines include Lugana Soave and Custoza.

Long established sites on the sunny hills of Soave and Monteforte d’Alpone in the Classico DOC area. The vines are trained by the Pergola Veronese systems on a well-exposed ground of volcanic origin with a preponderance of basalt-based rocks.

The new wine is refined in stainless steel tanks and then allowed to rest in its bottle for some time before being released.

The grapes are picked towards the end of September. 40% of the must is macerated for 24 hours on the skins at 7-8°C. The remainder is vinified by the traditional white wine method.
