Our family has been farming the fertile soils of the Onkaparinga Valley since 1939 and in this time there have been many cattle grazing, hens laying, potatoes grown, flowers picked and since 1998 we have been passionately caring for our vines, and making great wines. Our vineyard is located behind the township of Oakbank in the beautiful Adelaide Hills. Producing excellent Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Shiraz and Cabernet Sauvignon. There has been a lot of blood sweat and tears along the way. Now, with 20 vintages under our belt the results speak for themselves. We carefully hand prune, shoot thin, bunch thin, and hand pick to produce the best possible wines that show the unique characters of our place.

A blend of Pinot Meunier 48%, Pinot Noir 48% and 4% Pinot Gris from vineyards in the Piccadilly Valley & Oakbank.

Each parcel is matured in natural French barriques and Puncheons for 5-6 months before bottling with no fining or filtration.

All parcels are fermented in small batches using various proportions of whole bunches and a spontaneous wild ferment with a gentle maceration to produce a lighter delicate style of wine. The Pinot Meunier gives bright red fruits with a generous up front fruit profile, while the Pinot Noir provides tension and length with exotic spices and red fruits. The Pinot Gris, fermented on skins for 10-14 days that results in a pale red / orange colour helps to give a vibrant lift and roundness to the blend.
