The grapes for this wine are sourced from blocks 11B and 14, situated at altitudes between 420 to 460 meters on south-southwest and south-southeast facing slopes along the foothills of the Groenlandberg in Elgin. The vineyards benefit from medium-textured gravelly soil with a structured clay layer, contributing to the unique terroir. The cool climate of Elgin results in a delayed ripening time, allowing the Sauvignon Blanc to mature in the vineyard, developing beautiful, zesty tropical fruit.

The winemaking philosophy focuses on reductive winemaking with cool fermentation temperatures, resulting in a wine bursting with beautiful depth of fruit. The proximity of the vineyards to the fermentation facility (1.9 km) ensures that the grapes are processed promptly, preserving their freshness.
