Oak Valley is situated high along the Groenlandberg Mountain Range in one of the coolest wine growing regions in South Africa; Elgin. Attention to detail in the vineyards and our minimalist intervention approach in the cellar is what shapes our cool climate wine styles. Oak Valley’s signature is elegance.

We have two Riesling vineyards on Oak Valley Estate that provide us with two very different but complementary components of this wine. One vineyard provides aromatics, concentration and ripe fruit flavours at low sugar levels and the other providing elegance, acidic tension and depth.

The wine is reductively made and fermentation is halted when we feel the acidity is in perfect balance with the residual sugar.
