Wonderfontein Wine Estate is located just outside the vibrant country town of Robertson on the famous Route 62. Home to championwines, race horse studs, colourful people and true wine country hospitality. Our estate is planted to noble vineyards , and we produce a selection of beautiful hand-crafted wines, reflecting the unique terroir of this special area. Wine farming and winemaking at Wonderfontein Wine Estate is an age-old tradition, dating back to 1884 and is home to the proud Marais legacy. Wine lovers are invited to savour five generations of progressive winemaking where proprietor Paul Marais,winemaker Stefan Bruwer and their committed teams today produce elegant, hand-crafted table wines, delectable Campanile brandy and complex fortified wines using modern winemaking equipment but with an old-world approach. Beautifully manicured vineyards are a feast for the eye and our vineyard practices are with a focus on environmentally-friendly viticulture.
