With the ebb and flow of the tide and the cool breeze blowing off the Southern Ocean, Trade Winds present their wines from prime vineyards of the Western Cape, located near the tip of Africa.

Trade Winds Cabernet Sauvignon 2021 is made with grapes from low-yielding vines in Stellenbosch, South Africa’s outstanding Cabernet Sauvignon region. 2021 was one of the best harvests for a few years. A long ripening period gave small berries with good concentration of fruit and structure. Wines have great promise for long maturation.

The wine was matured in 250lit French oak barrels, 2nd fill (no new wood) for a period of 18 months.
