On the palate
Very pale gold colour, bright, almost silvery, with green tinges. Very fine bubbles because of its less powerful fermentation in the bottle. Vivid and floral nose, initial aromas are distinctly citrus – lime, grapefruit – with touches of white flower. Once open notes of grilled almond and crusty bread appear. A vivacious attack that provokes a wonderfully complex array of flavours, from citrus to white fruit. The very particular and mineral chalky quality is very much evident.
