The blend consists of 45% Chardonnay, 40% Pinot Noir, and 15% Meunier, sourced from over 55 crus. The wine includes 10-20% reserve wines to ensure consistency. It undergoes prolonged ageing in the cellars, with a minimum of three years on lees. The dosage includes 40 grams per liter of cane sugar syrup and wine from the same cuvée, resulting in its distinctive sweetness​.
