Ideal winter conditions with good rainfall contributed to an even growth and provided an excellent foundation. Budbreak was consistently good and even. During harvest time, a cool season and moderate weather conditions resulted in slow ripening grapes, which gave vines the opportunity to develop exceptional favour and colour. Picking of the grapes at their ideal ripening stage contributed to great primary aromas and development of berries to produce outstanding quality.

Grapes were harvested by hand and whole-bunch pressed to ensure cleaner fruit expression in the wine. Fermentation was done in stainless steel tanks, where juice handling was quite reductive, which added complexity to the wine. The wine was kept on its primary fne lees for a month to give a full mouth feel.
