300 litre French and American oak barrels. 50/50 (100% new)

Hand picked grapes from 2 vineyards. fermented with Shiraz-friendly yeast to express maximum cultivar and vintage character. 30 Days skin contact was allowed and malolactic fermentation with bâtonnage in new French and American oak barrels where it remained for 3 months without SO2. Thereafter SO2 added and matured a further 21 months in the same barrels without racking.
